Terms of Service

Agreement
These terms are between you and Remedi Collective LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, which operates Remedi. By using Remedi you accept them. If you are using Remedi for an organization, you are agreeing on its behalf and confirming you may do so.
What Remedi does
Remedi drafts documents used in the business of medicine — denial appeals, prior authorisation requests, progress notes and similar — from information you supply, and records who reviewed them. Remedi is a drafting and record-keeping tool. It does not practise medicine, does not give medical advice, and does not decide anything about a patient's care.
Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself, tell us promptly if an account is compromised, and do not share a login. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What you agree to do
Leave patient identifiers out. The tools tell you, on screen, to replace a patient's name, date of birth, member number and claim number with initials or placeholders. Follow that. You fill those details in after export.
Review before you send. Every document Remedi produces is a draft. A clinician must read it before it is signed or sent. Remedi shows you this on screen for exactly that reason.
Use it lawfully. Do not use Remedi to submit anything you know to be false, and do not use it in any way that breaks the law or another party's rights.
Documents drafted with artificial intelligence
Remedi uses artificial intelligence to draft. Artificial intelligence can make mistakes, including confident ones. The clinician whose name a document carries is responsible for its content. Nothing in Remedi transfers that responsibility to us.
Confirming a document
Where a practice uses the confirmation feature, Remedi can ask the clinician named on a document to confirm that they have reviewed it, and records the answer. Remedi records; it does not block. A document can be released with or without a confirmation, and Remedi records which of those happened and who released it. A confirmation is a record of the clinician's own statement that they reviewed the document. It is not our assurance that they did.
Text messages
Participation is voluntary and is enrolled by the clinician personally, by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to leave the program and HELP for help. Our full description of the program is in the Privacy Policy.
Who owns what
Your records are yours. The information your practice puts into Remedi, and the documents produced from it, belong to your practice. They remain yours if you stop using Remedi, and you may take them with you.
Our platform is ours. The software, the interface and everything we have built remain ours.
Payer intelligence is shared. What Remedi learns about how payers respond — held so that it does not identify a patient — is jointly owned, and our right to continue using it does not end when your agreement does. That shared learning is what makes the product work for every practice on it, including yours.
Fees
Fees, billing periods and any trial terms are as set out in your organization's order or agreement with us.
Availability
We aim to keep Remedi available and will not promise that it always will be. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what you are paying for.
Disclaimers
Remedi is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that a document will be accepted by a payer. Outcomes depend on the payer, the clinical facts and your own submission.
Limits on what we owe
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost revenue or lost claims, and our total liability is limited to the fees your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Health information
Where we handle protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, we do so under a business associate agreement, and that agreement governs where these terms conflict with it.
Ending it
You may stop using Remedi at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or the law. Your records remain available to you for export as described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and disputes belong to the courts sitting in Cook County, Illinois.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date and tell account holders about significant ones.
